Work Package 3
Adaptation of the genomic and proteomic screening tests and sensors
Objectives
- Modifying the cartridge (through changing the base substrate and the electrodes) and thus the corresponding biofunctionalization process with the aim of reducing the cost and adapting the technology based on country needs and expectations.
- Benchmarking to determine the most cost-effective and accurate cartridge.
- Comparing the performance of the modified cartridge with VIA and Pap Smear.
- Adapting the diagnostic modelling software.
Tasks
- Country-specific requirements and specifications for the PoC, self-sampling device
- Biofunctionalisation and substrate testing as part of a cost-reduction strategy
- Benchmarking for low-cost scale-up
- Sample collection
- Validation of microfluidic cartridges with real self-samples
- Modification of the diagnostic modelling
