
Modelling epidemiological and economics processes – the case of cervical cancer

The epidemiology and economics of cervical cancer are complex and require strategic simulations to assess the pros and cons of different interventions, such as screenings technologies. This paper analyses different mathematical models applied in the literature and suggests that System Dynamics Models are the best solution for an infectious chronic disease like cervical cancer.
