UVRI – UVRI-IAVI HIV Vaccine Program (Uganda)

The UVRI-IAVI HIV Vaccine Program Ltd is located within the Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) campus in Entebbe. It was founded in 2001 as a partnership between IAVI and UVRI, the Uganda government Ministry of Health research arm. The Program supports IAVI-sponsored activities in Uganda including feasibility studies, HIV vaccine trials, and preparatory engagements for HIV prevention and future research. UVRI-IAVI HIV Vaccine Program Ltd has gained vast clinical and epidemiological research experience over the years, through strategic partnerships and work with communities of the Wakiso, Mukono and Kalangala districts.
