The Centre for Microsystems Technology (CMST), belonging to the Department of Electronics and Information Systems (ELIS) (Faculty of Engineering and Architecture), is a research centre focused on smart microsystems integration and design. CMST is specialised in electronic interconnection and assembly on various substrates (laminate, thick and thin films, flex and stretch substrates), optical interconnection and opto-electronics packaging, and electronic and optical design activities, bringing together expertise from electronics, mechanics, physics and chemistry.
